The official residence of the Prince of Monaco since 1297. It is located on top of a rock 60 m height, which overlooks the Mediterranean. It is the heart and soul of the Principality.
Is meant to promote and make available to the public the oceanography of the area by means of the historic collections of the founding Prince, the exhibitions and the living creatures of its aquariums.
Is a roman-bythant building, which houses some of the most remarkable artistic treasures such as the altarpiece of Saint Nicholas by Louis Bréa August, 1500. We find there also the tombs of the Princes among them Rainier III and his wife Princess Grace.
